read only documents

I am trying to temporarily change a read only document to insert a PI. I set rochange to on and then go to change the document, but get an Arbortext message saying that I cannot modify the document because it is read only. Not sure what I am doing wrong. This used to work in version 4.3, but no longer works in 5.3. Anyone have any clues. Thanks.

    If you are using 5.3 on Windows 7 it might have something to do with Windows 7's increased security. You might have to launch Editor as Admin before you set rochange.

    Actually the rochange seems to work. It seems to be a problem with the modify_text_entity. When the rochange is set to on, the modify_text_entity still doesn't work in read only documents.
