Question

Retiring

Well I have decided (barring unforeseen circumstances) to retire the end of
June from full time work. I think 46 years is sufficient. 😄

I'll put this out now though, if anyone needs some support in Epic or the
Army's use of MIL-STD-40051 or 3031, I would be open to some part time work.
I've worked with Adept/Epic since 1991 and with Army TMSS since 2000
(primary editor on 40051 for seven of those years). I wrote the DTD used
until 2012 (when the ASRL shut down, still not reopened though last rumor
[from yesterday] says end of this month, but no idea WHAT will be on it). I
know the problems LOGSA has now built into their TMSS documents that make
contracting really difficult.

I'll miss some of the challenges, but I'm really ready to settle back and
play with my hobby, photography.

You were a constant (and helpful) presence on the adepters board since I first started working with Arbortext (an undisclosed amount of years ago).

Your expertise and sense of humor will be greatly missed. We need 10 more just like ya.

Good luck, and have fun 🙂

I'm not jealous. Nope. Not even a little bit. Ok, maybe a little. Smiley Happy

Please let us know the first time you don't know what day of the week it
is. (Have I posted this here before? It is my "retirement" thing ... I am
truly obsessed with that ... not knowing what day of the week it is.) I
want to know how long this takes.

I have saved many of your posts to Adepters, Lynn. I learned a lot from
them. They were models both technically and in netiquette-wise. (No one
uses that term anymore, but proper list behavior must be taught/learned ...
) Anyhow, I ramble. Thanks and good luck!

    Congrats, Lynn!

I'll miss you a lot. You were one of the second person I ever met at an
AUGI. I remember your camera even then. You've always had good information
    and help to share.

    I'll be watching on Facebook!

We're gonna miss you, in many cases I received help from you even when you don't know me personally, that's awesome. Thank you so much and please receive my best wishes.
