Way to enforce encoding for non UTF-8 character when XML document are saved in Arbortext Editor

Hi All,

 

we are currently facing some issue whith non UTF-8 special character in our XML document using Arbortext Editor.

We would like to enforce the UTF-8 encoding of those character when the document is saved in Arbortext Editor.

 

Is there any way to do so?

I think it should be saving UTF-8 by default. I'm a little confused by your wording though, when you say a "non UTF-8 special character", can you give an example? Does the character have a codepoint in Unicode? How is Arbortext saving out the character? Can Arbortext correctly read the same character back in after you close and reopen the XML file?
