Hi all,

I use AE6.0, it's strange that sometime I publish PDF document, the PDF bookmark is not correct that I want, but I don't know how to control it.

For example: why appear toc, tables, and toc.... Can I control it in the Arbortext Styler? Or other place? ( I delete the Table of Contents, but the bookmark is not changed...)

But when I publish Web format, it seems all are right.

the PDF bookmark (strange)

the Web Navigation(right), the question is : can I control the bookmark while publish the PDF? In styler or other way?

Could you give me any tips please?

In Styler, select the "Table Of Contents" tab.

You will see a check box for "Use for PDF bookmarks"

If you are using more than one table of contents (TOC) for your document, then beware that you may want to have only one of the TOC definitions with the checkbox checked.

See Arbortext Editor's Help Center topic "Tables of Contents List", "Creating PDF Bookmarks Using PTC Arbortext Styler", "Bookmarks in PDF Files", "Customizing the Content of a TOC".

Hi Tim,

I think I follow your suggestion. But still I found the strange "TOC" and "Tables" node.

I don't know why there is toc, tables, and toc(index) node. I want delete the node in the red box, but I don't where I set it

Since this further line of questions is now in a new thread from Lorin, I'll mark this one as Answered.
