With Arbortext and using an ACL customization, in the Modify Attributes dialog box, I would like to replace a free input field with a list of choices. How to do ?

From memory (haven't done this for years) the attributes should be a drop-down selection if your schema (or DTD) provides a fixed list of values that are allowed by the attribute. If you have a free-text attribute value then the drop-down list does not appear and you have a free-text typing field instead.
