what is crc file?

Hi,I have created FlatBody using one face and I want to fuse another face with that flatbody face How can i getthis?I have use mergewithbody option. but it is not working. it is gettingbody with two faces.

Dear ProGurus,I am creating proProgram and in the input area, i have parameter "A".However, later i would like to limit this A value to certain range which icreate using restricted range method.However, when i open the parameter box, i cannot tick the exisitng A tobecome restricted parameter.I have to go proprogram, delete parameter A, then delete A in parameter box,then recreate new parameter call A and check the restricted box.then only i am able to limit the A wihin the range value.I also notice that there are precedence depends on where we create theparameter.Any advice?THanks in advance.

Hallo Allerseits, ich habe die folgende Problemstellung: Es soll eine Teilmantelfläche eines Kegelstumpfes erstellt werden und die Daten über die Bogenlängen und den Verlauf der durch den Schnitt erzeugten Ellipsenbögen gemessen werden. Stellen Sie sich einen Kegel vor, der im Verhältnis Durchmesser zu Höhe von 1 zu 3 vorliegt. Der daraus resultierende Winkel zur Senkrechten ist tan Radius zur Höhe, also tan 1/6. Nun soll die Grundfläche schräg abgeschnitten werden, sodass sich eine elliptische Grundfläche ergibt und sich der Winkel der Aussenlinie von tan 1/6 auf 40° gegenüber der Senkrechten verändert. Es entsteht also ein schräg stehender Kegel, der gegenüber der horizontalen Fläche um 40° - tan 1/6 gekippt ist. Die neu elliptische Grundfläche ist nun horizontal, das bedeutet, das alle Punkte auf der Ellipse in der horizontalen Ebene liegen. Jetzt wird der Kegelstumpf erzeugt, in dem in 1/3 der ehemaligen Höhe des Kegels über der neuen elliptischen Grundfläche ein weiterer horizon

Is it possible to create a detailed Pro/E model of a connector and pass the "footprint" to Mentor? I have successfully created the Pro/E model and exported the footprint to a .emp file. The Mentor designer I passed the file to didn't think there was a way to import a component in a .emp file. Does anybody know if this is possible? If so, any hints on how to accomplish this? We have successfully transferred board data back and forth, but have never needed to pass a new component from Pro/E to Mentor.Ron

According with the help, fatigue advisor can deal only with low alloy steels(4340 -4130 -8620), unallowyed steels(1008 - 1045), Aluminiun and titanium.What happen with stainless steels (316- 316L -304 ? or other materials asHastelloy (nickel based material).(TPI-135398 is not clear with the definition of materials available).is it possible or not to perform an analysis using SS?is it possible to create a other material database?..what is the format touse?

My company is trying to utilize share point to manage all of the companies documentation. They want this to include pro-e files. Does anyone have any experience with this? So far I have not found a way to use the software to keep track of revision history let alone references.Any help is appreciated.
