Unlike industry-standard tools such as HP ALM and Jama Connect, Codebeamer lacks a dedicated Test Cycle feature, limiting structured test execution planning

Hi!

I want to understand your post a little better. Can you help me understand what your testing process is? I believe there is a way to create similar functionality, but we can work together to better ensure an optimal solution if I understand what your goals are.

Testing Process -

Requirements → Test Cases → Test Set → Approval → Test Run → Assign Testers → Execute Tests → Record Results → Assignee Reporting → Summary → Failed Tests? → Re-Run Failed Tests → Merge Results → Final Test Set Report → Traceability Report → Closure

Thanks for sharing. I think what you’re looking for is a way to document the methodology for the tests to be conducted in, and group the test cases together, does that sound about right?

Out of curiosity, is there a specific reason why you would only re-run failed tests?  This seems interesting. I would want to know if my modifications invalidated the previous tests.
