Is version 2.1.0.4 forward compatible to 3.0?

Hello All,

We are planning to create an instance with the new 3.0 version, and we would like to know that a project template exported from version 2.1.0.4 will be compatible with 3.0? Unfortunately we have no way of testing it, does anyone know?
