Issue with "Requirements Coverage" widget

The "Requirements Coverage" widget does not work in the automotive template (e.g. between System Requirements and Software requirements). However, test coverage can be displayed correctly. The behavior could still be carried out by Ms. Seidemann, Denise.

Dear @FS_11186401 ,

thank you for your observation.
Could you please create a ticket on the PTC eSupport portal? PTC TechSupport needs to investigate the situation, involve the responsible team and roll out a new template if needed.

Thank you.

I see exactly the same problem. As a supplier, our customer expects that we provide KPIs. E.g. what is the percentage of customer requirements covered by system requirements? And going on, how many system requirements are covered by Software requirements?

This currently is not possible to display in a widget. Only test coverage can be shown with a predefined widget.

As there is no off-the-shelve widget for coverage between arbitrary trackers, one could try to create a report and use the report widget. Unfortunately, this too isn't possible, because e.g. the field "has downstream reference" is available as filter but not as "group by".

The same request was brought up in the thread https://community.ptc.com/t5/Codebeamer-Ideas/Requirement-coverage-widget-for-down-and-uptrace-references/idi-p/995120

It was closed because of missing pictures. I don't understand why, because the request had excellent quality. A missing feature can not be captured in a screenshot. So the request for additional information was not necessary.

Codebeamer-Team, please investigate, how users can create a report or a widget to show coverage between any trackers. Please also allow to filter for item types. E.g. items of type "folders" and "information" should not be counted. Users might have other types that should be filtered.

After trying again, the requirements coverage widget does seem to work between different requirements trackers too. Maybe this was corrected in a recent version? In 2.1.0.5, I can view e.g. the coverage of customer requirements by system requirements.

The widget is still fairly useless, because it counts all items in the tracker, including folders, information, rejected items, etc. which typically aren't and shouldn't be linked.

I have created a new proposal here to overcome that:
