I am using Creo Parametric Release 11.0 and Datecode11.0.1.0After making a change in the Assembly (i.e i deleted an already missing part/Assembly) and saving, the change is not retained, when i open the Assembly again, it still shows the deleted part as missing. Started happening after i updated my creo from version 8 to 11.

we are doing windchill rehosting of our dev environment (Windows based). we have filled all the required data in the rehost.properties file but we are stuck at vault section. what does those '0' and '1' means in the attached snap vault_properties.png?we have master vault and a replica as shown in below snap Windchill version 12.0.2.7  Thanks,Sandeep. 

Hello everyone,I am currently trying to get as much information as possible out of my .pvz files using the Creo View Toolkit 12.0.But i am struggling to get the Information from Measurements especially the "Summary" one.I tried looking at the Markup class but i don't get it to work. I don't even know if that's the right approach or possible at all.Any solutions, advices or hints would be greatly appreciated.Thank you!

I'm writing a report in Mathcad Prime 11 and have an Excel file as appendix at the end of the Mathcad worksheet. The Excel file has been generated from within Mathcad and uses inputs defined in the body of the Mathcad worksheet.What I would like to do is globally define an output from the Excel file so I can use/reference it in the body of my report higher up in the worksheet than the Excel file.I have no problem defining an output and using it in the worksheet BELOW the Excel file, but I would like to know if there is some way of defining an output and using it ABOVE the Excel file. Is this possible?Thanks 

While importing MBD .prt models into Creo NC:The Annotate tab is not visible, preventing access to combination states.Cross sections are lost, and PMI data is not retained.Looking for guidance on how to properly import an MBD model into Creo NC.Are there specific settings or configurations required to enable full PMI and combination state support?

Hello,I am currently trying to install Creo on a new PC, but I am encountering an error during the installation process. Despite following the standard installation procedure, the software fails to complete the setup successfully.Specifically, the error occurs when I enter the Sales Order Number (SON) during the license setup.I would appreciate any guidance or solutions you could provide to help resolve this issue.Thank you in advance for your support.

Version: Windchill 12.1 Use Case: Wondering if there's successful implementations of publish worker with File Synchronization for SolidWorks 2023 SP5.0 on virtual Windows Server 2022. Tried with (and some other combination also..) WWGM 12.1.2.1 and Creo View Adapters 10.1.0.0, but publish fails stubbornly with "WWGM ERROR: Loading addin "\x86e_win64\obj\swadapter_loader_net.dll" into SolidWorks failed". Windchill installation would be version 12.1.2.5 I know the above combination is not in the list of PTC tested combinations, but the one we have with SolidWorks 2021 is not either and it's working fine.Description: --

I'm trying to stack two matrixes into a single text file.  Screen shot of what I would like is in the file.  Between the two files is a user defined combination of letters and numbers.  obviously, the top For loop is not working right. There also seems to be an extra space in front of [INFO] in the text file. And there is an undefined character at the end of each line of the top matrix.

I am trying to ensure models have their Unit Sensitivity turned ON.  I can toggle it with a mapkey but is there a way to ensure that it is set on (or off) for a part? 

How can i define a Default value for the UIReadStringMessage(true); The command appears in my jlinkapp without a defaultvalue. On page 79 of the helpfile you can read the note. A default value is displayed in the text box as Input.When user presses the Enter key as input in the user interface, the default value is not passed to the Creo Object TOOLKIT Java method; instead, the method returns a constant string use_default_string. When this string is returned, the applicationmust interpret that the user wants to use the default value.

Hello, I would like to create section views using straight lines, splines, and sometimes a combination of both. This was incredibly simple with Autodesk Inventor as in you simply drew a sketch on the drawing, set a reference surface and a distance to extrude it back and you were done. In Creo the best I can get is to either zoom way in and try to get it as straight as I can with the section tool (still looks horrible/wavy) or use 3D/Offset sections, but I have had issues ballooning parts when using these. Any insight would extremely helpful.

Hi Folks, Moved to Creo 12.4.1, Getting this notification every time I open a part or assembly: "Material usage parameters are out of date"Only way to make it go away is to use the "Update Materials Usage..." command.But that only lasts for that session, next time the files are opened, the message pops up again.Is there some point or purpose other than to be annoying?Regeneration does nothing to get rid of this notification.Thanks for any wisdom shared.

I'm asking for a work around, because Toolkit will not work proper in the following scenario (my guess).   You have ONE Drawing with 2 Models BOX.PRT is active at sheet 1 and CYL.PRT is active at sheet 2   You get the scale with: ProDrawingScaleGet(drawing,solid,sheet,*scale)   If sheet 1 is active, the function  ProDrawingCurrentsolidGet() will return BOX.PRT, and now I have the Drawing, the Solid and the Sheet to get the scale, so far - so good. But if I activate sheet 2 via Toolkit, ProDrawingCurrentsolidGet() will return BOX.PRT again which is not correct.   There is no function to Update the Model Tree. The Drawing tree can be updated but the Model Tree will not reflect the change if I switch to Sheet 2 and display the Model Tree of the CYL.PRT.   Do I miss something here, or is there a trick. I tried ProDwgSheetRegenerate, Refresh Wind, Solid Model Tree, Regen and so on. But the call to ProDrawingCurrentsolidGet() will always return th

I wanted to know if it's possible to get the dll handle of another application from a toolkit application if both the applications are registered using registry file Prodev.dat.   Scenario: Suppose I am loading two add-in/plug-in DLLs at a time through prodev.dat file.Internally, i want to get the handle of each DLL, to communicate internally.Is there a way, i can get the DLL handle of each plug-in.Steps tried: Suppose, I am loading A.dll and B.dll through prodev.dat.When both gets loaded, I called toolkit API ProToolkitDllLoad() and passed B.dll path to get the B's handle.But, the API fails.If I try to call, ProToolkitDllHandleGet() , I don't have the first argument i.e. ProName application_idQuery from PTC team: Is there a way, i can get the Handle of B's DLL?
