We are currently exploring an integration between Windchill PLM and Assent Compliance. As you may know, PTC has retired Windchill Product Analytics (WPA) beyond 11.1 and partnered with Assent to address evolving regulatory requirements such as REACH, RoHS, SCIP, Conflict Minerals, and IPC-1752B standards.I’d like to check if anyone in the community has:Already implemented or piloted a Windchill–Assent integrationInsights into what capabilities can and should be integrated (e.g., BOM data exchange, supplier declarations, compliance reporting)Lessons learned, challenges, or best practices during such an integrationAny guidance, references, would be highly appreciated!

Since 11-Sep-2025 I've been struggling with the problem that I can't upload attachments during case creation, but also afterwards.   If it happens during case creation, messages appear saying that the upload didn't work and to try again or delete the attachments.   After the case has been created, the behavior is such that you don't even receive a message.The only way to notice it is to check the case history and see if a corresponding entry has been added for the attachment.   Switching to the legacy case view doesn't help either.   I've already reported the problem to PTC support via the case 17915739 (the linked page isn't publicly accessible).Are others affected by this problem besides me?   Regards,Domenic

Dear WC adminstrators, I do have some ambiguity on below scenarios how the content is managed.Is content copied or moved from cahce vaults if Cache vaults and replica vaults are set up in replica site, when any user uploads a file connecting to any replica site?Is content moved or copied when file initially uploads to cache vault and then goes to master vaults incase of master site?How is content accessible by user B connected to main,if user A uploads the file to replica site.how the content is accessed by an user in Replica site B if an user from Replica site A uploads to Replica A site vaults,if a user uploads a file to main, how is this available to userB connected to any replica?

I'm trying to install Mathcad 14 on a new, Windows 11 computer. I know that it is a really old version, but it works extremely well for me and I don't have funding to upgrade. That said, when I run the license set up (after installing Mathcad 14), I get an error message: The remote server returned an error: (403) ForbiddenAny help at all would be much appreciated. I'm sort of lost without Mathcad (I use it daily).Thank you.

In the Creo Part File, I have a Part as a body, <A> In that I have created 2 appearances (1. Black[Which is default], 2. Green[New one])<B> In Combined State, has 1. Default All (referencing Black Appearance), 2. Paint (Referencing Green Appearance)<C> I can switch between them in the part, and it does what I need it for In the Creo .DWG File, I reference the same Part as above, <A> Sheet 1 references some views that have the Combined state Default with Black Appearance <B> Now I have a new sheet(Sheet 2) that has some views for the (At least that is the intent) Combined State of the Paint with Gren Appearance<C> Keep a note that all the Vies are shading with Edges But the Problem is that I never show black and green on sheets 1 and 2, respectively; it always goes to the default appearance that the part has, so if I change the part's appearance/ combined state, that drawing force changes for all sheets Do you have a

Does anybody know the correct code for reading out matrix content with JScript in MathCAD when loading it through the API?  This is the MathCAD simplified example in MathCAD Prime 11.  This is the code in the button: Reading a matrix value like this works excellent when loading the Matrix as a normal input variable without API. Other API functions works fine, like for instance Worksheet.Output.GetValue("EampleNumber").RealResult      

Hello CREO Users,I am working on a milling operation for an internal profile (similar to a valve seat geometry) in Creo Manufacturing. My objective is to machine the internal contour using tool radius compensation (CUTCOM) and to ensure smooth ramp transitions between Z-level passes or using helical folling the profile to avoid marks on the final surface.I have tried the following approaches:The Cut Line strategy allows helical movements and smooth transitions between passes, but it does not support tool radius compensation (CUTCOM). This is a requirement for my process.The Profile Milling strategy does support CUTCOM, but it does not offer ramp or spiral entry between Z-level cuts. As a result, the tool plunges vertically at each level, which causes unwanted marks and steps in the internal diameter of the part.I've tried to explore all the SCAN_TYPE parameters. Version: Windchill 13.0Description: We have customized a PRE_WORKSPACE_CHECKIN listener to process an attachment file and populate attributes on the associated CAD document during the check-in process. It works great, but sometimes users forget to add the attachment, which results in none of the necessary attributes being populated. Is there a way to throw a warning (or error that can then be bypassed) to the user during check-in to tell them they are missing the attachment? Hi Gents. I have seen this same issue as this topic: Using Major/Minor revisions - PTC Community, - how to interpret and structure "major.minor", as R&D Lead in several organisations. (Defence, Oil & Gas, Consumer Electronics), and have found this thread while trying to understand what windchill implements as standard. My take is this: Lets choose to interpret minor change as No NEGATIVE Impact on "FFF" **at the level of the item in question** AND NO change required to any production documentation, test procedures or impact on requirements.Major change is the converse of this. Rationale. In engineering assemblies, as long as the change we make on our part/assembly still meets the requirement on it with **at least** the same margins, AND impacts nothing else (as above) then it is **fully compatible**. I created an assembly representing a commercial ball joint, called SKF_GE-4-C. This assembly is composed by a housing mounted by default and a sphere mounted with a "ball" connection type. If I drag components, everything is working fine at this level.Then I used this file as a component for another assembly called SUB, mounted as rigid. If I drag components, everything is working as expected at this level as well.However, when I insert SUB in another assembly called MAIN and try to constrain the hole of the ball with a fixed shaft, everything locks in place. I am not able to move the beam with drag components as I intend to do.Is it possible to get it to move preserving the same (or a similar) structure of assembly? What do you suggest? Using Creo 9.0.9.0. Files in attachment for reference.

I have a classification attribute named Colour with internal name COLOR,in the Constraints tab, I have assigned global enumeration which is having internal name Colour(COLOR_ABC). Is there any api available such that when I give an input of Classification Attribute internal name (COLOR), my output should fetch the global enumeration used COLOR_ABC.  @HelesicPetr  

Hello, I am adjusting the size of the dimension arrows in the detail options to make them smaller since we have many drawings where they are packed full of dimensions. I found the options to adjust the arrowhead height and length, but I can't find one to shorten the length of the tail. (see attached picture). Any help would be greatly appreciated.  

I have a case involving a beam structure suspended on ropes.After analysis, I expect to see how the structure is balanced (center of gravity neutral) and deformed.But I don't know how to define the rope correctly.Could someone please help me? Thank you in advance!

I have created two attributes in Windchill that makes use of enumerated value lists. I have introduced cascading attribute rules against the object type which is associated to the two attributes. My cascading attribute rules stipulate that if a value for attribute 1 is set to X, then the value for attribute 2 should be set to Y. I have configured the "Create New Layout" for this object type to contain these two attributes. When I set the value of attribute 1 to X, attribute 2 does not display a value of Y automatically. Instead, the dropdown list of values associated with attribute 2 decreases to two to select from - a value of Y and an option to set the attribute value to blank. I want attribute 2 to be set to a value of Y without giving the user the ability to select between a value of Y or blank. I am aware that it is possible to specify that attribute 2 should not include any blank options in the dropdown list it is associated with. This file is in MathCAD 9, but I'm experiencing the same issue in MathCAD 10. I believe MathCAD is misrepresenting the units. See attached. "Hmp" and "TH" have the wrong values when comparing with example 11.2 at the bottom. I rewrote them as H and T next to them. I substituted "m" and "Ump" for the actual values of 100000 and 1035 and the answers came out correct. So, something is wrong with how "m" and "Ump" are represented.
