Why does using a NUMBER type attribute to create an alert cause an error?

Hi everyone, I'd like to ask whether it is possible to hide the display of the z-expression/z-axis in a 3D plot? I have attached a picture and marked the area in green to show what exactly I want to hide. Thanks for your thoughts!Uwe

I have CB 3.1.0.1 integrated with WC 13.2.1 via the DPT integration and from CB I can click on the linked part to see information about it but I don't have the Creo View widget.  Am I missing something in the configuration for this to be enabled or perhaps an additional extension to install?

Both are of type Real Number with Units.I want to make a calculated attribute that have this expected outcome:- If PRO_MP_MASS has a value higher than 0.1 kg, the value of PRO_MP_MASS should be the result- If PRO_MP_MASS has no value or is below 0.1 kg, the value of AttrB should be the result- If both PRO_MP_MASS is below 0.1 or has no value and AttrB has no value, the result should be "No weight assigned".Used formula: ((!isNull(PRO_MP_MASS) || (PRO_MP_MASS > 0.1)) ? PRO_MP_MASS : ((!isNull(AttrB)) ? AttrB : "No weight assigned"))What ever combination of values and empty values I make, I get no results in the calculated attribute.What am I missing?Here are the errors that I facedNone

hi! just downloaded creo 6.0 (student) and when I start the program an error messages appears (shown in the attached files). Any suggestions is much appreciated!  

Given how little versions changed, it has frustrated us all that we cannot save in older versions.  I suspect this is largely a marketing ploy to force upgrades and new purchases. And, probably controlled by a simple version check.  So after a little thinking, digging and experimenting, I have been able to open 5.0 files in 4.0.  I haven't played with it much and I'm sure it's limited - but it might help someone someday.    With the new version file a.) Change the extension to .zip b.) Unzip to a folder c.) Delete app.xml in docProps folder   With the older version i.) Save any file ii.) Change the extension to .zip iii.) Unzip to a folder iv.) Copy the app.xlm in the docProps folder v.) Paste this 'old' app.xlm into the folder where you deleted the last one.  You should just be able to re-use this file anytime you want to do this.   Go back to the 'new' version folder: Re-Zip all folders and files that had been unzipped. Change extension from .z

As I purchased a license, I request immediate access to download. With the license came an activation code, but without the software I am unable to activate.

Hi, I am trying to select multiple references (2 a surface and an edge of a part) when creating a datum plane. For some reason holding CTRL while selecting them doesn't work. I can select one or the either and it turns green but when I hold ctrl the surface turns orange for a sec but doesn't select. Could this be because I am using VMware Fusion on my Mac laptop. Is there a work around that I can do? I need to have two references to add a rotational offset for this plane. please help.  Thanks

Version: Windchill 13.0 Use Case: I have a requirement to supersede change notices and the change tasks associated to them. Objects that can be included on issued change notices as affected/resulting objects can often no longer be subject to the changes that the change notice is being used to represent. This is because newer change notices can be issued that includes the same parts as affected/resulting objects and the changes detailed on the older change notice would then no longer be required. In instances such as this, it would be good to be able to update an attribute against the change notice and it's associated change tasks to allow users to easily identify that they have been superseded by a new set of change tasks associated to a newer change notice. Hi EveryoneI am using two separate detail files for two different config options:drawing_setup_file format_setup_fileWhen I create a new drawing, I get the following error in the Message Log:Error(s) in C:\Program Files\PTC\Creo 11.0\custom\ISO-prt-asm.dtl. See datafile.ers.  In datafile_error.txt, the error is:ERROR - C:\Program Files\PTC\Creo 11.0\custom\ISO-prt-asm.dtl, line 2: Invalid value 'CALCULATED' for keyword 'text_height'.Note:Both detail files contain the same config option text_height.In ISO-prt-asm.dtl (used as drawing_setup_file), the entry is:text_height CALCULATED (Causing an error)In ISO-frm-prt-asm.dtl (used as format_setup_file), the entry is:text_height 3.5 (Not causing an error) OBSERVATION:If I changed the value of "text_height" from 3.5 to "CALCULATED", ISO-frm-prt-asm.dtl file is also making an same error I mentioned above. Software: Creo Parametric 11 Can Someone help me on this? Thanks.

Hi, Is it possible to reset variables? For example, if I want to have one file with multiple different calculations inclduing a variable for diameter, is it possible to have a line break or something, so that any variables above it are not used? Therefore variable for diameter needs to be redefined again.  I know that just re-using the same variable redefines it, and that I could use D, D_1, D_2 and so on, but I do not find these acceptable solutions as it increases potential for calculating errors. And sorry for asking this, I know this must be a common question, but I don't seem to be finding the old ones.  

Version: Windchill 13.0 Use Case: It is possible to assign a change task in Windchill to a user group. This will result in the change task being displayed on the home page of each of the users in the group when it is time for the change task to be actioned. If at this stage a user is removed from the user group that the change task was assigned to, it seems that the change task still remains available in the "My Tasks" table on the homepage of the user who was removed from the group.Description: I would like Windchill to prevent users from being able to complete a workflow task if they are no longer a member of the group that the workflow task was originally assigned to. Does anybody know if this is possible?

The PTC Help Center recommends overriding the getSpecialTableColumnsAttrDefinition() method to include new attributes.However, when I click "Customize" in the table view, all attributes for the selected object type already appear under "Set Column Display."Is there a specific reason or scenario where overriding getSpecialTableColumnsAttrDefinition() is needed?  

Is there any windchill option from solidworks to insert components directly from windchill commonspace to solidworks assembly.Current scenario is to add the component to workspace and then use insert component option from solidwrorks to assemble the component

Walking into a new year and a strange error message without any system changes (that I know of). When exporting a table of data to Excel (Export to XLSX), I get this error message: All other export methods appear to complete fine just this one so I've dropped its severity down. I am trying to find a Variable in a "F"+subscript(tl) format. Find only searches for "F" alone, but that finds F with any subscript or tl but that finds any variable with tl subscript. How do I find my "F"+subscript(tl)s? p.s. This forum wont even let me format the subscript ...  p.s. If PTC decided to wage war upon subscripts, why did they not superscript them in the convertor???
