Just in case you guys don't know this there is a config option that allows you to see the full path of your current working directory on the title bar. So when you do use the backup command at least you can see where you are now working. And yes you are not the only ones who have been hosed by this properly working command!!! smile
1. Create a shortcut to your pro/e executable 2. Right mouse click and select "properties" 3. In the "Start in:" field, type in the path to your desired working directory. For example C:\Temp 4. Start pro/e and C:\Temp will be the working directory and if you have a config file in that directory, it will be read on startup also. 5. If you want, you can also set your config option file_open_default_folder to display your working directory on startup rather than say My Documents.
