Question

can't create coord system

My WF2 coord sys creation UI does not have the Type drop down box. It's not that it's grayed out, it's just no there, there's not even space for it above the 3 tabs. The other users do not have this problem and can select the type of coord sys they wish to create. I don't remeber this problem in WF1. Any ideas?

Thanks to NDK at mcadcentral, it seems that you can only create
cartesian coord systems in Part mode. You must be in Mechanica to
create the additional cyl and spherical coord systems. See attached

This is not true. While in part/assembly mode you have to pick a feature to offset from and then you can specify what kind of offset you want (ie. cartesion, cyl, shereical). Is there a reason you would want to place a csys without referencing another feature?

You don't need Mechanica to create a coordinate system, you need to select
some sort of reference then options will become available.
