    Hi,

I have some questions about CFD software. What is your experience when
    evaluating the following CFD software:

    . FloEFD
    (http://www.flomerics.com/products/efdpro/details_news.php?id=366), also
known as Flomerics or FloWorks (SW FloXpress)

    . CFDesign (http://www.cfdesign.com/Home.aspx)

How user friendly is either one for a non-CFD specialist? How well do these
integrate into a multi-CAD environment (Pro-E or SW)? Are evaluation copies
    available? What about Tech support?

I have used FloXpress which is part of the teaser add-in (module) of
SolidWorks. I would be interested in learning the Pros, and Cons
(limitations) of the above mentioned software.

We use CFDesign and it is very straight forward and get good results. Data transfers pretty well over to CFDesign from Pro/E, we have version 9.0 they are now on 10.0 which is suppose to be even easier and simpler to use. Part of the decision needs to be what types of problems do you need to solve and can that package perform those types of analysis. You should definitely take training for whatever package you choose because there are always tricks to getting the answers you want from a package.
