I am new to PTC, and I need to make a chess piece using the revolve tool. Anyone who could give me some guidance would be greatly appreciated!

You would create a revolve feature which requires a sketch preferably with a centerline defined within the sketch (known as a section). You would create 1/2 of the profile of the piece you want. Certain logical rules apply such as having all solid features on one side of the revolve axis (center line).

First you have to choose which piece you are going to model. The knight would not be an easy revolve as say a pawn, rook, or bishop.
