Converting dxf to Model

Hi When I import a dxf file and then convert it with autobuildZ to a model,I have found that sometimes the sizes differ (+/- 5mm) and even some lines that where at an angle have been made straight. The problem is I sometimes only realise it after I have done a lot of changes to the model. Is there some setting I have to check? Any help is appreciated Thanx Rene
