create curve with intersection of two surfaces..

    Select both surfaces holding control, then select intersect in the editing group of the model tab.  That will create a curve at the intersection of the two surfaces.

      Thanks Tyler, that's what I'm trying to do but the intersect command is greyed out

      Once you have a surface selected the intersect command should not be greyed out.
