Creo 1.0 locked up

When opening CREO 1.0 M040 everything seems to come up ok but it appears locked and does not respond to any commands. Can't find any open dialog boxes or anything to indicate that it is waiting for user input. It won't do anything no matter what button or menu I try to select. It is just locked up only option is to kill it via task manager. Worked fine on Friday!

maybe you need to be admin while installing it? Its possible that some part
of it is requiring admin rights or admin to be the owner. I say run the
set up as admin and see what happens

If this worked fine Friday I wouldn't think it's an install issue.

Has the computer been rebooted since Friday? If not, please completely shut down, wait 30 seconds, then turn back on.

Were any Windows Updates installed since Friday?

Do you have WindChill installed? If yes then look at the task bar and you may see the Windchill login blinking waiting for you to open it and accept it.

I have seen the same issue when linked to Windchill and having
    windows_browser_type mozilla_based_browser
    in your config.pro.
If this is the case remove it from your config.pro to use IE per default or set it to ie_in_sep_process.

This issue seems to have been solved in Creo 2.0 M010.

Creo 2.0 F000/F001 definitely has an issue with windows_browser_type set to mozilla_based_browser, but it is fixed in M010. We’ve had regular Wildfire 4.0/Creo 2.0 lockups ever since we switched from Intralink 3.4 to PDMLink 9.1/10.0.

We get a double login window with this option. Any ideas on how to fix that? Creo 2 M010
