how are phantom dimensions removed from view in sketch mode?

    You can use Disp Dims command to switch

    I think you are referring to the weak dimensions and those go away after you create dimensions that satisfy the sketch. Otherwise use the disp dims if you want to remove all dimensions from view.

    There is also an option under Sketcher>Options that you can uncheck so weak dimensions are not displayed but strong ones are. It is also controlled in the config.pro with sketcher_disp_weak_dimensions. The display dimensions icon will turn both types on/off.
