grouping symbols

I am trying to group 10 or so symbols on top of each other so I can turn them on and off. Is this possible?

    Use layer? I don't know, if there are other solutions..

    Symbols can contain multiple groupings that are either exclusive or independent of one another. In exclusive groups only one group can exist in each placed symbol while independent groups can coexist in the same symbol. The groups can be defined at different levels allowing you to have any number of combinations in a single symbol. In the help center search for symbol groups and you should find sufficient information on grouping entities. Also if you have access to the drawing class there is a module on symbols that also covers this functionality. Hope this helps. Colleen
