You can try creating a curve by equation for coil.

Sample equation is:

/* Diameter internal

d = 100

/* Pitch

p = 50

/* Number of Revolutions

r = 10

/* Height - Should be 0 for plane

h = 0

x = ((d/2 + p * r * t) * cos ((r * t) * 360))

y = ((d / 2 + p * r * t) * sin ((r * t) * 360))

z = t * h
