How to create straight NPT’s in Pro/E Creo

    You might have to create your own hole table for NPS and NPSF.

    The host of straight pipe threads are mind boggling if you throw in the metric offshoots.

    PTC is falling behind a little on covering these standards with provided tables, though.

    The easy way is to create the hole and a cosmetic thread. It all depends on how you manage the annotation for the hole.

    I created one years ago. Hole file names can only be 3 charactrs long!!!

    I have attached the file, but take no responsibilty if the data is not correct for your use.

    But I'm not sure what is meant by this 3 character limit... I have recently made table named ISO-COARSE.HOL, and it works fine.

    In older versions of WIldfire, 2 & 3, a .hol could only be named with a 3-charcater name; iso.hol, unc.hol, etc. It appears that Creo has lifted that limit.
