Question

How to display the Machanica Mesh

One of the users is using mechanica and wants to know how to display a mesh
he just created. Can someone point to me to the setting. I recall a mode
where one can see surfaces is Blue, edges in black and nodes in yellow to
review the mesh.

regards,

Alfonso

What version of Pro/E are we talking about here?
Do you want to see the mesh in the Pro/E model or in the result
    windows?

    For WF4:

In the result windows you can do
Edit; Result Window; Display Options; Show Element Edges

In the Pro/E model you can do
AutoGEM; Create; File; Copy Mesh from Study
and you can tweak the settings using
    View; Simulation Display; Mesh

Alternatively, for the hardcore users, you can switch to Pro/M
standalone, if you have that, but that method is deprecated 😉

    Hi Alfonso,

As far as I know, you can generate (or retrieve) the mesh using the
'mesh' toolbutton whilst editing the Mechanica model; or you can select
Show Element Edges in the Result Window Definition dialogue box.

There may be other options in Independent Mode, but I only use
    Integrated Mode.
