Importing Company Logo into Title Block

What is the best method of importing a company logo into a title block? Can the same method be used for both DWG and GIF files?

    If the company logo is a .bmp format file you can import it as an Object.
    Select "Insert" from the top menu bar. Select "object" at the bottom of the
    menu. Check the Create from File circle, and then browse to where you
    stored your logo file. These can also be added in format files as well.
    Then you don't have to add them everytime you create a new drawing.
