Is it possible to create round snap lines?

It would be nice to have piece marks and balloons in a circle around an object.

    I WISH! It'd be nice to have more control over the creation of them. On a circle, you get an offset line tangent to the point you pick. It works.

    What I'd rather see if that dimensions ONLY snap to them along the visible length, not across the entire dwg. Sometimes dims in one view snap to a snap line created in another view.
