Maintenance
Hi All
Apologies if you get this multiple times, I'm posting to more than one
group.
I have a bit of a survey type question for you all. I have a seat of Pro/E
Foundation - not Foundation Advantage - and previously my maintenance has
been $2,250 AUS. Maintenance for Foundation Advantage has been $2,820 AUS.
This year I am being told that my maintenance will be the same as Foundation
Advantage, I am being told by my reseller that to get Foundation Advantage
functionality I will need to pay $3,800 AUS for the upgrade.
I would like to know if others have noticed the same with their maintenance?
And if the extra functionality does come at a price? (I expect that it
does).
PTC if you're bothering to listen - this absolutely stinks, but I guess we
should all be used to that by now. Looks like that I may be renewing my
SolidWorks maintenance rather than my Pro/E maintenance this year, despite
the fact I hate S/Works, I'm tired of being expected to swallow PTC bitter
little pills on a regular basis.
