Does anyone know if it is possible to record or write by hand a mapkey that uses your actual keystrokes, as i have only seen mapkeys that record the menu options that you select.

I have made mapkeys with a combination of keystrokes with a couple of mouse clicks to save the current drawing file as a dwg.

After naming and describing the mapkey, I turned on Record.

    Alt-F, Z A (file saveas Creo 2.0)

I had to mouse click to change from .drw to .dwg.

I mouse clicked to get on the name bar.

Home key (to move the curser in front of the existing name).

v ( to add the letter v in front of the name for the in house viewer program).

I mouse clicked enter (though I may have been able to enter from the keyboard).

    I stop recording.

    Saved

Clear the file that had been made while creating the mapkey

    Tested and it worked.

    I hope this helps.
