I'm looking for material specs for high density polyethylene. Does anyone
already have them?

    Thanks all for you timely response!

    Yes, I did look at matweb. Seems like most people like the site but it does
    not have Poisson's ratio nor Young's Modulus for HDPE. . . .

    Chevron / Phillips was very helpful however.

    Young Modulus - 263k psi
    Poisson's - .425

    These are, of coarse, ball park figures and as you know Machanica is not
    particularly suited for plastics . . . . . .

    Messageseem's to be hard.

    PE handbook says for Hdpe :
    flex modulus : 145 to 225 k psi
    tens. mod. : 155 to 200 k psi

    MessageSo, instead of full anisotropic behaviour, is there a way to handle flexural and tensile modulus ?
    perhap's an orthotropic simplification ?
