Does anyone recall the environmental variable or demo option that shuts off or minimizes the Mechanica UI ? I'm running mechevent files and do not want to see the UI.

Thanks in advance.

    Dear Joe,

    mstruct -g

Used to work when I used Mechanica on Unix. I've never used it on Windows,
so I don't know the appropriate command syntax.

Another option (depending on what Joe is trying to achieve) is to setup
Batch Run jobs within the Analysis dialog box instead of running them
interactive. This will cause just the msEngine to run which has no
graphics. This frees up memory taken up by the heavy xtop and mstruct UI's.

PS. Don't forget to turn off your anti-virus software while running
analyses. Depending on your AV vendor this can have a signigficant impact
    on your analysis time.
