Not converged!?

hi,

I analyze a stress distribution of a structure using static analysis in
Pro/MECHANICA integrated mode, what if i check the measure of convergence
of the analysis and find that it is not converged, what should i do to
make it converge? Please advise, thanks.

    Hi Soon Tong,

    What method of convergence did u use : SPA or MPA ?
    If MPA, u can view convergence plot of say vm stress vs p-pass. This
    will give u a clue of yr analysis. There could be a singularity problem
    in yr model, maybe a pt load or pt constraint or a sharp inside corner.
