All,

Someone sent me a zip file and asked if Pro/E can import obd files.

In the zip are a series of folder and files.

I don't see anything .obd.

Not sure if if I had the file I could open it.

It's pwb stuff.

Anyone familiar with this?

These guys may help http://www.artwork.com/odb++/odb++_overview.htm Something to do with Valor (Frontline), now part of MentorGraphics.

It looks like the equivalent of STEP for circuit boards. Where Gerber typically captures the artwork, ODB++ must capture the schematic, the artwork, the board outline, probably package dimensions and placement for the components.
