Parameter Update

Wildfire4 we have a mapkey that recalculates the mass properties when the material is changed and updates our Weight parameter. In Creo2, I can manually run the analysis and see the mass change but the Weight parameter does not update, wither manually or from the mapkey.


Is there a better method in Creo2 for updating a parameter driven from mass properties?

    We found the same problem with our old mapkey. Update it to point to thecommand in Model Properties > Mass Properties > "Calculate...".


    Alternatively set config option mass_property_calculate automatic. The name is a little misleading though as the behavior does not meet most user expectations. A additional regeneration is required for the update tooccurein some situations. There was some previous discussions about whether that is a bug or working as designed by PTC.
