Pro-E freezes while regenerating

Has anyone else had issues w/ Pro-E freezing up during the regen process. This didn't start until w/ switched over to 4.0 about 3 weeks ago. It has probably happend 6 to 8 times now. It just stops. Task manager shows it as still running but if you check the performace tab nothings happening. Any ideas??? Thanks.
