Pro/E performance under Windows XP vs Windows 7

Has anyone done any performance tests with Pro/E under Windows 7?

We currently use Windows XP and are starting Windows 7 tests.
Today, I ran the OCUS benchmark, and the Windows 7 results are not encouraging.
On identical PC's, the test ran in 3309 seconds under Windows 7 x64, and 2677 seconds under Windows XP x64.
Based upon those assumptions, our engineers will be unproductive (waiting) for an extra 42 hours/year under Windows 7.
That is expensive non-value time.
We might compensate for the lost time with faster PC's, but that has a cost as well.

Has anyone dealt with this issue yet?

We are currently using Windows 7-64 for all of our WF5 workstations.
Our previous systems were Win XP-32, so the jump to 64 bit was welcome.
Other than that, the jump from Win XP to Win 7 has been underwhelming.
Stick to XP if you can, but jump to 64 bit.

This week we also tested 2 Workstations with Pro/E Wf 4.0 M150 on Win XP x64 and Win 7 x64.
Exactly the same results as you have: Win 7 is about 20% slower than Win XP.
Turning off Aero in Win 7 caused an improvement of about 3%.
