ProE WF4 and Windchill R8 M040

Anyone been running Windchill R8 M040 with Wildfire 4, if so any issues orproblems

I know from the Software Matrix that this is not supported but I feel this isa way forward

I want to upgrade to Windchill r9.1 and Wildfire 4 so it is a chicken and egg situation, WF2 is not supported under R9, WF4 is not supported under Windchill R8 M040

So I can pay for an upgrade to R8 M050 then I can do WF4 then pay again for teh MIGRATION toR9.1

What I would like to do is run WF4 for a short while then do the R9.1 upgrade so the users do not have 2 new things to cope with

(Yes I am a considerate Sys Admin)

Any advice, help, knowledge etc please pass my way
