Hello -

I am tasked with maintaining a large number of ProE files on a network drive folder as I await IT assitance in migrating to our PDM. Can anyone suggesta good 3rd party tool that purges/archives previous versions of the files in order to keep the network folder manageable in size?

Thank you - Brian

    Brian,

Check out Spekan Purge. I have used that in the past and it worked well. They
might even have a free download.

    Brian,

Hesitated responding since the post on my end indicates your original inquiry is four hours old, but since I've not yet seen any replies.....

We've been using the Innotiv Spekan Purge Tool for many years with great success. It's a really nice tool and FREE.

Free is very good, but for $49 try...

They have a 30 day trial, it's highly configurable, and there is email support if needed.

I've been using it very effectively for years in our network environment.

    Hi Folks
We used Spekan for ages. Not sure why we stopped but I have been using
cgnpurge.exe and this does the job OK.
