I don't know how straight the hose must be, but you could approximate a straight hose by creating your curve for your trajectory as an arc with an extremely large radius and the width from one endpoint to the other defined; and then to obtain a 180 degree turn, you simply modify the radius to be half the total width. (which will become the diameter at this point)
