RE: ProE 2001 must have Wildfire lit under it to start. (Solution!)
This was an old problem but I stumbled on a solution.
It turns out that my Cox security protection was the culprit.
When I uninstalled it, the problem cleared right up!
I replaced it with another virus protection software.
