Redirecting output of proi.log files

per: https://www.ptc.com/appserver/cs/view/solution.jsp?n=/117891.htm i can't seem to get this to work properly. does the environment variable need to be a system variable? also, should the path be in quotes to accept the spaces? any help is appreciated.
