      .....fun?  There may be a use for that down the road.  I'm playing with how i can use it, I have a idea.  No current need, just an Olde Dog learning new tricks....

        For reference, the shape has waves in both the X AND Y direction.

        Oh my.......  Dunno why it shows in some areas with the edge segmented, a curvature analysis of the edge shows it correct........???

        Actually, I don't think the top one is, but the bottom one looks close.  I can't open your files.  May be a version issue or if you're using a student version.  I can open it if you save it ass a STEP file.

        The copper one is an epicycloid.

        Can you open the STEP file I attached for the first one?  That should tell you.
