Pros,

Is there a way to rotate a component in an Explode State?

Yeah that would be great! I have had that desire since I started
making exploded states. Some times every thing is very neat but there is
one little thing you need to show on the drawing, and it is on the
opposite side or maybe there is no space on the available drawing
format or you just want to maximize the aspect ratio to the format. The
only way is to adjust the rotation of some components. What about pro
process? Some times you really just want to show a component in an odd
rotation against its final location. Maybe you got a ball socket asm and
the rest location is not good for showing some property of the assembly,
so you need to rotate the ball joint. For example you need rotation in a
suspension for a car or in a robotic arm or a set of gears or
synchronous blades. Some times you want to show the rotation of the
    assembly.

    All,

As a reminder, mechanism snapshots can be used for anything that's
assembled with joints (robotic arms, suspensions, etc). The snapshots
can be toggled to be available in the drawing and will show up in the
explode state list. Other work-arounds for non-mechanism systems are to
get creative with simplified rep by substitution using interchange
groups or use assy family tables (both require AAX).

As for a general, rotated explode state, I agree that this is needed
capability. Please put in enhancement requests for this sort of stuff (

    Hi

    I am facing a issue while making drawings in Pro-e (WF3, M230)

I inserted a view and added its side views (selecting view and right click - insert projection view). And, did some work on other sheets.

Now, came back to this view again and tried to insert one more projection view (bottom) and I am not able to get the link "Insert projction view". (see attached snap shot)

    Any clue?

    Thanks & Regards,

Your image shows you have it highlighted over not selected, Select it
and your projection should be available

Wildfire 5.0 has rotation capabilities in explode states. PTC listened and delivered, wow!
