Rotating model for power point

Is there any way to put a 3D model into a power point presentation and
have it automatically spin or manually?

    I am also interested in doing this, some more details please...what software does one use, how does it work etc...

    You can use OLE (Object Linking and Embedding) for this. Check out the
    following How To from PTC:

    I use CAMTASIA Studio and Producer.

    You can download a demo and it's powerful enough.

    The producers are TECHSMITH.

    You can even save as Flash.

    Of course you can also use the Design Animation Option to save an AVI
    directly.
