I’ve never seen the overall of this type of dowel pin called out in the manner below. Has anyone else?

    Bizarre, but then McMaster Carr's drawings usually have a lot to be desired.

    The length we list for the metric stainless steel dowel pins does not include the chamfers on each end. The metric alloy steel dowel pins are measured differently, however. The length we list for the alloy pins is the end to end length, including the chamfers. The product drawings for all of the metric dowel pins in this section are correct.
