Standard Holes & DOWEL holes

Is anybody using standard holes for dowel holes ?? Standard holes are
driving by some thread, but dowel holes have no thread involved. How do you
standardize dowel holes ?

Regards, Hugo.

Uncheck "Include thread surface" from the Shape slide-up panel in the Hole
    dashboard?

This is not possible (WF1) of blind holes. And dowel holes are mostly
    blind.
    2/
As for threaded holes, dowel holes are drilled upto a certain depth, and
finished upto a depth less then the drilled depth.
    3/
Feature Information does not identify the hole as a dowel hole, but as a
    special kind of fastener hole.

So, this is not a decent solution.

    This is what we do.

Create a threaded hole blind and turn-off the cosmetic thread (In the Shape
    Popup, as Nicolas Hostein suggested)

I filed an enhancement request some time ago to allow a drilled hole to be
    blind, no resolution yet.
