unable to remove a quadrangle in 0.1"×0.005" with two 0.001" rounds using a revolve cut to .igs model in Pro/E WF5.0 M120

unable to i want to remove a quadrangle in 0.1"×0.005" with two 0.001" rounds using a revolve cut in Pro/E WF5.0 M120.

when i open iges file in Pro/E some times i see that it is imported as only surfaces and some times as solid.

is there any options that we need to check with while opening the igs model?

    I would not directly import it.

    Open your start part and choose Insert->Shared Data->From File and open the iges within your start part. That way you will have the units you desire from you start part and any other setting your start part contains.

    I believe then you will be able to make the desired cut. If not, posting a screenshot would be very helpful!
