Hi all,
Thanks for all the replies. Seems like I may have been the only person who didn't know this. Very new to WF5 (still testing).
The most common response shown below, along with placing the annotations on a layer and hiding that layer.

Unselect the button highlighted below and the annotations will be hidden.
