Workflow for creating a 2D repeat region to display family table information.  Covers an alternate method using simple repeat regions to allow the use of relations and filters.  Discusses creation of filters in alternate method, and some related drawing setup options are also covered in addition to column sorting to match the family table display order.

I never knew about the alternate way to create Family Table region so thanks for showing.  Not sure yet if I am going to use it but will keep in mind next time run into a FT problem and see if gives more latitude.  WOuld also help if there was an example of what can be done using the 2nd method and why it offers more flexibility.

AMAZING VIDEO!!! everyone at my job used the second method of family tables but no one could explain why or how it worked, they always just copy pasted and hoped for the best.

with this video i now understand both options and how they work. thank you to whoever made this video i love you
