Activate a prt in assemly

Hello,

 

I am trying to perform operation on a part in an assembly using Creo toolkit. I want to know if there is a method first to activate the part in assembly then perform operation on feature present in that part. I want to perform operation like importing features or setting the parameter value in the part.

This is not needed, most stuff can be done by just using the model handle, there are some exceptions if you need drawing screen coordinates. And for feature creation I’m not 100% sure.
