CREOSON 4.x (BETA TESTERS NEEDED) š
What is CREOSON?
- CREOSON is the Open Source JSON interface to Creo Parametric via JLINK.
- It is kind of popular -- over 15,000 downloads and going!
- It is used by individuals up through global companies to automate Creo Parametric
CREOSON 4.x has been in internal development objectives /Ā new features:
- MCP Endpoint - for Local/Cloud AI Agents to talk with andĀ drive Creo Parametric)
- āSkillsā -Ā enableĀ your Local/CloudĀ AI HarnessĀ toĀ driveĀ Creo Parametric properly
- Local AI - enable companies to path run AI (100% local, isolated, sovereign, in control)
- Security - enableĀ TLS / HTTPS /Ā Key Access Management options
- User Experience - Install, Configure, Deploy, Interact, etc.. (it has to be obvious/easy)
- (and a few other bells and whistles)

Here is what is coming in CREOSON 4.x:

While connecting AI to Creo Parametric is not new (it has been done before in limited scope / examples); the typical setup is complicated, fragile, one-off.
We are looking to make MCP a first-class interface for CREOSON, and provide some default skills for your AI models to become super Agents relative to Creo Parametric.Ā This last bit is really important for enabling AI platform choice and Local AI - especially when your data, interactions, and transactions canāt leave your environment to be understood by someone elseās AI platform/service.

What is the timeline for CREOSON 4.x?
Great questionā¦Ā This will be a major release, so there are a lot of things to consider, and make sure things are working properly.Ā A top priority is to continue to deliver current interfaces while helping users/companies understand theĀ āhowā... to (safely) connect-to and/or deployĀ AI (locally or via their cloud environments).
